Doctor Who: An Otherstide Carol

Merry Christmas everybody! I really fancied revisiting the Camfield Doctor, with Carol, and also add a little more to the characters of Lee and Sophie, so here's a brief little side trip that I hope you enjoy. (Title card once again produced by Tara Colite) Chris Dec 2024            Carol Williams wasn’t sure what to expect from a Victorian England market on Christmas Eve, but this one absolutely fit the bill.      The Doctor had brought them here, almost on a whim, after his three companions had all got talking about their respective time periods and then when their respective birthdays were. Carol’s being late 60s and her birthday being New Year’s Eve, the Doctor had proclaimed that she was a ‘veritable Christmas Carol’, with a conservative glimmer of a chuckle, which everyone found slightly out of character.      Lee and Sophie were from far in Carol’s future, both mid-2020s, which felt so futuristic to her. Doctor Who - The WreathKind

I originally wrote this at this time of year, back in 2016, ultimately in response to the Christmas themed Doctor Who book released at that time called "Twelve Doctor of Christmas.". Great title, of course, there were actually thirteen  Doctors at that point. There's not much opportunity for the War Doctor to get a break from his war torn time war narrative, but I felt that this would make him getting a little respite for once would make for a very fitting Christmas tale. The trip back from university has been a long one, but now she had returned for the Christmas holidays. Intro

Hi, Chris here. Felt inspired to create a blog page, largely to post stories as and when I come up with them. I've written for Big Finish and Obverse previously and, if you find yourself here, you may well already know that! I've written for 1st Doctor, 6th Doctor (twice!) and the Camfield Morbius Doctor. No promises or specific plans of regularity, but I have lots of ideas that probably won't get published, and I'm thinking that have a blog space, I'll actually put pen to paper, figuratively!
